Briskeby
Briskeby, led by charismatic vocalist Lise Karlsnes, became a pop phenomenon in the early 2000s, leaving an indelible mark on Norwegian pop history.
Briskeby's musical journey began in the year 2000 with the debut album "Jeans For Onassis" and the iconic track "Propaganda." The album and single made waves in Norway, establishing the band as a musical force with its unique combination of catchy pop, poignant lyrics, and energetic stage performances. Briskeby quickly became an indispensable part of the Norwegian music scene.
Hits like "Wide Awake," "Cellophane Eyes," "Hey Baby," "Miss You Like Crazy," and "Joe Dallesandro" swiftly became the soundtrack for an entire generation. After selling over 200,000 albums, winning four Spellemann Awards, Hitawards, and receiving an MTV nomination, Briskeby took a well-deserved hiatus in 2008. Now, they are back, ready to captivate audiences once again.
