Hellbillies is a Norwegian country rock band from Ål in Hallingdal.
The band debuted already in 1990 and became popular with the album "Pela stein" in 1993. For that album, the band received the award Spellemannprisen in the "roots & country" category. Since then there have been around 15 albums and loads of tours and awards. The band received the prestigious award "Hedersprisen" during Spellemannprisen in 2021. Hellbillies are particularly known for songs such as "Det finaste eg veit", "Ein krasafaren steinbu", "Mørkemann" and "Eg gløymer deg aldri".
