Nik Kershaw

Nik Kershaw is a British singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame in the 1980s. He achieved major success with hits such as “Wouldn't It Be Good,” “The Riddle,” and “I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” and had eight singles reach the UK Top 40. Kershaw spent more time on the UK charts in 1984–85 than any other solo artist at the time, and also performed at Live Aid in 1985. He is also known for writing “The One and Only,” a No. 1 hit for Chesney Hawkes in 1991.
