Rotlaus
Rotlaus is a popular Norwegian band hailing from Ørsta, Sunnmøre. The band was established in 2015 and has quickly gained recognition as one of Norway's most touring and sought-after live bands.
They released their first album, "Bygderamp," which quickly reached the top ten on the VG-lista (Norwegian record chart). Their hit song "Byjenta" earned them their first gold record in 2017. In the same year, they released their most famous song, "Rundt neste sving", which has received multiple accolades.
Their second album, "På vei", led to nominations for "Album of the Year" and "Breakthrough of the Year" at the Spellemannprisen (Norwegian Grammy Awards) in 2018. The band was also nominated for the Spellemannprisen in the category of party music in 2021 and 2022.
The band is known for their engaging live performances and their strong connection with the audience. That's why they are beloved by fans, and many sing along from the very first note. Lead vocalist Bjørn Marius Øyehaug expresses the band's philosophy by saying, "If you're not having a good time yourself, you can't expect the audience to have one either."
