Royal Jam is a Norwegian quartet that specializes in playing classic rock from the 1970s and 80s.
The band consists of very well-known Norwegian musicians, four of whom are part of Åge Aleksandersen's Sambandet. Royal Jam had their first concert in June 1991, during the signing weekend of King Harald and Queen Sonja in Trondheim. Hence the resonant name Royal Jam. Royal Jam is made up of Morten Skaget, Skjalg Raaen, Terje Tranaas, Steinar Krogstad, and Lasse Ingebrigtsen.
