BÆRUM BIG BAND opens the festival with their powerful renditions of Geir Wentzel and Christine Meyer’s legendary recording of timeless soul music, 97% Soul from 1997.

Christine Meyer took over as lead vocalist in the Wentzel Band at just 17, following Inger Lise Rypdal.Geir Langslet is well known from the acclaimed Norwegian band Lava.Guest vocalist Egil Eldøen joins the lineup – a celebrated singer known from Lava and an impressive solo career.Guest vocalist Sebastian Brynestad, one of Bærum Big Band’s regular voices, also takes the stage.
