He has written books both about the Baneheia case and about the murder of Birgitte Tengs. Books that have put both matters in a new light. 

The journalist, author and documentarian Jahr has contributed to uncovering two particularly gross judicial murders and he has turned the entire country's perception of the two cases upside down. He has started a ragging of both the police, the judiciary and the media.

The talk is entitled About challenging established truths and here he tells, among other things, how he approaches people in crisis, challenges people in power, looks for structural connections and tracks down important information.

Bjørn Olav Jahr has worked with communication for around 25 years and has been a journalist for Kapital and Magasinet Dagbladet. He also worked 12 years as an editor at Gyldendal Norsk Forlag and so far has five books on his conscience.

Many also know him as the creator of the podcasts Gåten Jan Helge Andersen and Tabbene i Tengs-saken.
