Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter tells the dramatic and moving story of Ronja, a young girl growing up in a robber chieftain’s home in a world filled with both magic and danger. When she meets Birk, the son of a rival robber chieftain, she faces a difficult yet courageous decision – to challenge her family’s traditions and question loyalty across old enemies. The story explores themes of friendship, bravery, identity, and the importance of standing up for what is right, even when it’s hard.

In this dramatized version, we will take the audience on a fantastic journey through the enchanted forest, the world of the robbers, and into the deep, magical adventures Ronja and Birk experience together. Our theatre production will be full of drama, humor, and exciting characters – from the wise and courageous Ronja, to the tough and serious Birk, and of course the humorous robbers living hidden in the forest.
