We at Sandefjord Jazz are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the "Kirkefestdagene" festival organized by Musikk i Sandefjord Kirke (MiSK). And we do so with a sweet jazz concert.

None other than the Scheen Jazz Orchestra will be gracing Sandefjord during the Kirkefestdagene. This ensemble consists of no less than 12 musicians, all with a solid professional background. The members' musical backgrounds range from classical music to jazz, giving the band a distinctive character. Nordic contemporary jazz meets classical music. As the name suggests, the orchestra is based in Skien, but they are a significant force among progressive jazz performers throughout the country. Scheen has performed at various club venues and jazz festivals in Norway, and they have six albums to their credit.
