Meet Trio Franor, a Norwegian-French guitar trio established in 2018 by Ingrid Horvei Lyslo (NO), Anna Vegrim Ryvænge (NO), and Marine Bouttier (FR). The trio presents a broad and varied repertoire that includes elements from classical, jazz, contemporary music, and folk music, with a main focus on Norwegian and French music.

This concert offers the Norwegian premiere of the commissioned work "Through Mountain" by the acclaimed Iranian composer Golfam Khayam. Khayam is known for uniting Persian musical traditions with a modern, experimental expression.

The piece "Through Mountain" is inspired by mountains and nature. It is minimalist, features Persian ornamentations, and explores that which unites people across national borders.
