On September 8th, a masterful gathering of dimensions takes place at The Note in Sandefjord. In the lead roles, we find three of Sandefjord's great musician sons.

The day before, Hans Mathisen is in the studio to record an album with the renowned KORK (Norwegian Radio Orchestra). While he's already immersed in the process and has the material under his skin, he decides to bring the soloists to his hometown the next day to deliver music of the highest caliber. And these soloists are no ordinary individuals. Among them, we have his brother Per Mathisen on bass, Sandefjord native and saxophone guru Petter Wettre, pianist Jason Rebello, who has played in bands with Sting and Jeff Beck, as well as Andreas Bye on drums. At The Note on this evening, we will be treated to songs spanning Hans Mathisen's entire career and naturally, music from the recent recording as well. It's unlikely to be devoid of improvisations either.
