You must have lived alone in a cave for the last 30 years not to have caught Hellbillie's many legendary tunes.

Since the second album "Pela stein" in 1993, Hellbillies have been owned by the people in Norway. The mix of high-quality country rock and down-to-earth lyrics sung in Halling dialect simply has an irresistible effect. So already in 1993, the band from Ål received the award Spellemannprisen in the category roots & country, for the aforementioned album. During the Spellemannprisen 2021, the Hellbillies received the prestigious award "Hedersprisen". No wonder, when you have delivered songs such as: "Det finaste eg veit", "Gamle Bry´n", "Eg gløymer deg aldri", "Mørkemann" and "Som eit lauv i eit vindkast", to name quite a few.
