Multi-instrumentalist Nils Mathisen will take the main stage at The Note alongside a group of highly talented musicians. 

With his excellent skills on instruments such as fiddle, bass, piano, bass, and vocals, Nils Mathisen is widely known for his versatility as a musician. All of this and more will be fully demonstrated at The Note on August 18th. A few years ago, Mathisen released the critically acclaimed album "Popcoast," where he serves up delightful songs in the best West Coast tradition. Now, the musician breathes new life into the Popcoast project and brings it to The Note in Sandefjord. In his usual manner, Mathisen never does anything halfway. He brings along Anders Bush on keyboard, Rune Syvertsen on guitar, Espen Hauge on bass, Rolf Øyvind Hæg on drums, Ola Welo on saxophone, Tarjei Grimsby on trombone, and Rune Haglund on trumpet. The gang will treat us to songs from both the album "Do Not Cover" and "Popcoast," as well as a handful of brand-new tracks.
