It will be a musical encounter with a true legend when drummer "Wild" Willy Bendiksen takes the stage at The Note on April 29th.

Bendiksen has been at it for more than 50 years and has played with just about every Norwegian and foreign musician you can think of. In the 1980s, he actually toured with Motörhead as the drummer for the band Road. He was also a member of the Thin Lizzy tribute band Bad Habitz for many years, along with, among others, Ronni Le Tekrø. He has also played in The Snakes, with original Whitesnake guitarists Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody. The Wild Willy's Gang project has been around since 1993, and here we meet a stellar lineup of musicians who take us through almost 50 years of rock history.

To set the mood for the evening, the local heroes in Nordadrag play first. Here we meet Kai T. Brekke on bass, Hjaran Berge on drums, seasoned veterans Henning Nilsen on guitar and Nils Mathisen on keyboards. Ivan T. Brekke is the man behind the microphone.
