<p>Sandar Church is one of Sandefjord’s most central cultural and parish landmarks, with roots dating back to the Middle Ages. The current church was completed in 1792 and built in a neoclassical style, featuring a bright and spacious interior that seats around 1,200 people – making it one of the largest churches in Vestfold.</p>
<p>Throughout the year, Sandar Church hosts a wide variety of events: services, holiday celebrations, concerts, cultural evenings, and other gatherings. It combines history, tradition, and living culture – and continues to serve as an open and inclusive meeting place for both the congregation and the wider community.</p>
