By the Border, Halden's newest festival! Enjoy fantastic artists, great atmosphere, and memorable moments as the festival takes over the historic Place d'Armes at Fredriksten Fortress on July 3rd and 4th, 2024.

The fortress above Halden, a proud symbol of Østfold, offers history and panoramic views towards Norway and Sweden. Never conquered as a fortification, but conquered by countless visitors who love this amazing place.

At the beginning of July 2024, there will be another invasion of the area when the festival By the Border sees the light of day within the walls. It will be decorated, arranged, adorned, and transformed, and in comes a diversity of food, people, music, and creative expressions. Age limit 20 years.

The following artists have been announced: TOTO, Dropkick Murphys, Bigbang, Gåte, Hellbillies, Sivert Høyem, Metteson, Åge & Sambandet, Fay Wildhagen, Hallesby, Norma and Onkel Tuka.. More artists will be released soon.
